Random thoughts on Coding
It's been way too long since I've designed a website. I'm taking a Turbo Pascal course at school and was really freaking busy, so as a result, my web designing slowed.
I had to come back. I miss it too much.
There is no feeling in the world like changing a few CSS selectors and watching your page magically jump into a perfect design. There is nothing that compares to spending 2 hours straight searching documentation for a database struggle that will just not resolve. And then finding the answer and everything clicks.
I am seriously addicted; I'm finally realizing it.
Not even does my imperfect setup of Smultron and Safari sitting side by side cool my enthusiasm. They just work. At least until I can't remember a CSS selector. Or I need to open up Transmit to ftp my site. Or until I need to collaborate with friend on the site I'm working on. Or when I need to hit up the remote server with Terminal.
So yeah, I really should get Coda.
Coda. The reason I switched to Mac (wow, that should go in the commerical). I'm poor right now. Maybe my dad will buy it for me for Christmas. I can always keep my fingers crossed, eh?
